Training & Development Co-ordinator
I started at ACEOC in September 2018 as a contract facilitator. Shortly after, was appointed Training and Development Coordinator. I am a Social Worker (BA) and have built my approach with a paediatric, trauma-informed lens; diversifying my skillset through a Master’s degree in Management; and has extensive experience working as a Facilitator and Social Worker within community, government and health care settings.
My work is largely about ensuring quality management principles are embedded in ACEOC’s collaborative alliance with their external facilitator team. Two-way communication ensures that we are listening to our trainer’s expertise and adherence to ACEOC’s high quality standards (program fidelity).
My facilitation-style has been described by participant’s as highly-responsive and engaging. In addition to this, I ensure that my delivery is tailored and attuned to the client group. I thrive on robust and challenging discussions and am driven to make a difference in the sector.
I believe that partnering with workplaces to address and support those affected by DFV can help create change across Australia.
